Way to Grow Tackles the Education Gap

How do you bridge the education gap for children from isolated families? That's the question that Way to Grow, a local non-profit in Minneapolis set out to solve. For over 30 years, Way to Grow has brought the community together to address the serious and prevalent gap in early childhood education in Minneapolis. While Minnesota may be a leader in education, our children of color are too often left behind.

Their mission statement is, "Working closely with parents and communities, we ensure that children within the most isolated families are born healthy, stay healthy and are prepared for school."

Using character illustration, motion graphics and voice-over, CRASH+SUES partnered with Way to Grow in order to tell their story and articulate their life changing mission. Art direction was led by Preston Stevens, while Kaj Kjellesvig handled the script and animation. We're so grateful to be involved with this inspiring organization!
