Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy golfing, skiing, music, riding jetskis, hottubbing, reading and writing. I love cabins and fishing, traveling, and cooking as well.
Do you own any pets?
I do. Teddy, he’s a 10 year old cockapoo.
How does CRASH+SUES stand out to you?
It started with Heidi. She’s just different, in a good way. I know it’s cliche but it’s the people here. But you know, whenever you start a new job, sometimes the scariest part is trying to acclimate to the people you work with. And how quickly you can be comfortable there. That directly correlates to how you feel about a place. I feel comfortable and am excited to come to work every day.
What are your goals for C+S and for yourself?
Oh I have goals for CRASH+SUES for sure, and it’s to evolve and develop my skillsets and to continue to provide clients with work that we’re proud of. Whether it’s production, editing, design, animation—however we decide we want to evolve, I want to be part of that evolution and growth.
What’s one piece of advice you wish you knew sooner?
One thing I wish I knew earlier and I now try really hard to be better at is to be mindful and grateful. The majority of stuff isn’t a big deal. I used to get so hung up on things. If I wasn’t doing something important all the dang time, I just thought I was wasting time. It was exhausting.
Yoga helps a lot. I started doing that and the whole self care thing after my last job.
How would you describe the culture here in one word?
