Meet the Editor: Matthew Kroese

Matthew Kroese has been at C+S for 15 years, starting as an intern, then moving into duplication before becoming an assistant editor and finally, staff creative/finish editor! His editing style completely depends on the job, though he loves utilizing music to propel a piece forward while creating emotion and atmosphere. His projects range from short films to marketing pieces to broadcast spots.  Some recent projects were with CBS Sports, and the rock group Train for their "Feed Them With Music" charitable work. And while he's most at home in his deluxe edit suite, he's not opposed to editing on the road, which he recently did for a client in Wisconsin.

When Matthew's not at work, you can find him on the slopes teaching downhill ski racing to kids, or participating in adult league racing. Biking to work and mountain biking also get him outside year-round, as does the occasional beer-mile, 5k, 10k, or half marathon. Despite the sling on his arm which he'll sport for the next four weeks (mountain bikes and rabbits don't mix) he still manages to get the job done.
