CRASH+SUES Welcomes Katie Heywood!

Hey everybody! My name is Katie Heywood. I’m incredibly excited to join the team at CRASH+SUES as a designer, animator, and creative.

I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!) with a degree in graphic design. During my studies, I also picked up some illustration and art skills, which came in handy when I realized I wanted to get into the animation industry.

Since I was young, I’ve always loved storytelling and being able to entertain people. I enjoy conveying expression and moods through my work with a goal of inspiring others. Initial stages of projects always capture my attention because I can apply research and dig into the stories and backgrounds behind certain motifs within my work.

In my free time, you can find me in the wild watching Marvel movies, attempting to cook new vegetarian recipes, or swimming laps in the pool.
