WHO MAKES UP CRASH+SUES?

It takes a handful of leadership, equal parts owner and producer, and a truckload of moxie to make Heidi Habben.

Get to know Heidi a little better:

What are you most passionate about accomplishing?

I am passionate about creating a better world for people these days to live in. I’m passionate about helping people see the good in their lives and help them find joy. I’m passionate about the people who work here and about making CRASH+SUES a welcoming space where their passion and talent can thrive.

In your time here, what stands out from other places you’ve been/worked at (or where we are now compared to where we’ve been)?

CRASH+SUES has always been a feeling. We’ve always had amazing team culture here. Of all the places I’ve seen, working as a team here has always felt natural. It’s always been about the client and getting behind the best creative idea, without jealousy or ego. We always have each others’ backs.

Favorite clothing item?

My cowboy boots. I never get rid of my old pairs, even if they don’t fit.

What made you want to get in to the video world?

I fell into it. I even originally tried to get out of it. I wanted to work for international trade. I even quit three times, but something kept pulling me back into video. I think it’s because this industry is similar to farming in a way. There never is one right answer. Every project is new and different. You have to keep up with the industry. There’s nothing boring about the work we do. It’s so exciting to see the stories, brands and concepts our team comes up with.

If you could give one piece of advice (about anything) what would it be?

Hire people that are the best at what they do, and let them do what they do well.
