MPR: Antonin Dvorak in the New World

CRASH+SUES teams up with Classical MPR once again for another episode of Class Notes. This time we take a trip to Minnehaha Falls to reflect and be inspired – much like European composer, Antonin Dvorak, did many years ago. In this episode we explore Dvorak’s upbringing, his trip to the New World, and finally how his music was inspired by the people and landscape of America. Shot and directed by Todd Isaacs, written by Kara Wayne, animation by Anna Fleissner with assistance from intern Joe Prest, and color by Sue! Check out the video here for a healthy dose of musical inspiration!
